The course
The start is located in Ibetts Piece. It is roughly equidistant from the entrances to the Downs from Honister Heights and Tithe Pit Shaw Lane. Walking from the Tithe Pit Shaw Lane entrance, Ibetts Piece is about 400 metres along the main path and to the right. The course encompasses a mixture of grass, gravel and stony paths.
